Toy Car
For this project, me and Taylor were tasked with designing a toy car using inventor. The car must be able to fit in a 4"x3"x2" box, have at least 2 pieces (a chassis and a body), the body must mechanically connect to the chassis, and it must have wheels.
This is a finished assembly of the car.
This is the decision matrix we used to decide which car design we should make. Each category was scored from 1-5, with 5 being the best. The jeep had the highest score with 16 out of 20
This is the sketch of our concept of the jeep we planned to design.

This detail sketch shows how the chassis attaches to the body.
This exploded view shows how all 4 wheels, the fake wheel, and the chassis connect to the body.
Conclusion
Using inventor after this long of a break was definitely a challenge. Although it took was time getting back into the swing of things, after about two days I was able to finish the car with relatively no problems. The skills I remembered to use that were the most useful were the angle, mate/flush, and hole commands. I did not really learn any new inventor skills in this project, it was more to refresh my skills for my senior project.
